Highlight of the 45th year anniversary releases is a
3-disc set which truly lives up to its monumental title of 'The
Definitive Collection'. It contains 50 EMI recordings on 2CDs
including all of Cilla's 'Top 40' hit singles, rarities and
previously unreleased tracks. It also notably features her first
ever music DVD of rare video performances filmed between 1964
and 1976. Although many of the video tapes containing Cilla's
live performances from this era have been wiped, 25 gems were
unearthed from the BBC TV archives and have been issued here for
the very first time. This includes greatest hits, fan favourites
as well as many knockout renditions of popular songs which Cilla
never recorded elsewhere.
This
multi-media compilation is a fabulous
celebration and tribute to Cilla Black's 45 years
in show-business offering a wonderful insight
into her highly successful recording career in
popular music.
